Shore Duty

Ahh, the Jersey Shore. Land of legends, lethargy and love. Memorialized in story and song...

"you looked so very pretty
when we met in ocean city
like someone oh so easy to adore
i sang this little ditty
on our way through ocean city
heading south along the jersey shore..."

ON THE WAY TO CAPE MAY
MAURICE 'BUDDY' NUGENT
CIRCA 1960
AL ALBERTS, COZY MORLEY

Resident pop. 7,500. Summer pop. 75,000.

The boardwalk early Sunday morning...

...BikerBuck friendly...

...lovely homes...
...by 9am, coming alive...
...the day beginning to pick up speed...
...wheels a-churnin'...
...sailors a-yearnin'...
...and some folks un-concernin'.
And just down the road in friendly Sea Isle City,
handsome ocean-front homes,
somewhat less crowded beach,
and friendly folks like happy and helpful C.J. here, who treated BikerBuck to a mini-tune up on the house. It's the Sea Isle style.

Nestled between ocean and inlet, Sea Isle is perfectly positioned.

Best restaurants...all of them.

City center and band stand.

And in nearby Avalon...
...what's that body of water called? Oh yeah, the Atlantic Ocean.

Cathy, Spencer and Noel Groeschel were once again the perfect hosts for BikerBuck. They also fed and watered BB in Florida last year. What great friends!

On the way to the Cape May Ferry, BB had a delightful visit with Donivee's aunt Margit and cousin Kate Holsworth in Vineland NJ. Good fun!

Next up...the First State. (Name the state and win valuable prizes!)
