What better way to wash those kilometers away than a weekend in Beaverton with Gregarious Jackson and his Gracious Parents, Jessica and Thad. We had a great time at the Farmers' Market, hiking the nearby creek and right at home in the garden.
Oh, and that other garden too.
Then it was off to Willowbrook, IL to pick up a rental bike from the Mill Race Cyclery in Geneva and provision Dee's roomy Town and Country Minivan for the midwest states. Big mahalo to all my hosts for the 5-day "weekend."
